إنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةَ وَالْدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ الْخَنزِيرِ وَمَآ أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللّهِ بِهِ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلاَ عَادٍ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
With our strict adherence to God’s words and in applying the rules of
Islam, we had to point Muslims to the right directions, be it in food or
drink, and to clarify the right from wrong so that every Muslim knows
well and appreciates all the blessings of Hallal food prepared in God’s
name.
From this prospect and upon request from the acting director of the
Union for Islamic Institutions in Brasil an agreement has been signed to
oversee and monitor the process of preparing Hallal meat in butcheries
across Brasil, below is the statement of the agreement in different
languages:
